Chinese People – Another thing that the Bai are known for are their colorful festivals. The most renowned of these festivals is commonly known in English as the March Fair, though you might also hear it being referred to as the Dali Bai Festival. Held during the third lunar month, this festival takes place at the base of Mt. Cangshan in Dali and is a multi-faceted affair. Originally a religious festival, the March Fair of the Bai has come to encompass many different things, including the trade of regional goods and observance of traditional dance performances.
