Macau Venetian Hotel
Macau Venetian. Much like its sister hotel–the Venetian Las Vegas–the Macau Venetian is modeled after Venice. As is evidenced by this photo, it even features a re-creation of St Mark's Campanile, and the many arches of the adjacent building resemble the great arches at Venice's famous Piazza San Marco. Surrounding much of the Macau Venetian is a lagoon of sorts, and as is true of the second-floor canals, it is used for gondola tours. Set along the canals are high-end shops. Once again in the spirit of Venice, many of the Macau Venetian's retail venues specialize in fashion and jewelry.
