Quezon City Hotels

The Quezon City hotels can make for excellent bases on a trip to the Metro Manila area, which has a lot to do with the city's mostly residential appeal. As is true of the Philippines hotels on the whole, the hotels in Quezon City are affordable across the board. Even those who choose to book an upscale Quezon City lodging can expect the rates to be very attractive. Quezon City is only a half-hour drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which is the main airport in the Philippines. As such, travelers who are flying in will especially want to keep the Quezon City hotels in mind for the convenience factor alone.

The hotels in Quezon City aren't overly luxurious, but that doesn't mean that visitors to this largest city in the Philippines can't enjoy some extra amenities when in town. The Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila (pictured) reigns when it comes to luxury Quezon City lodging, and it does well to keep its guests satisfied. Business travelers may appreciate the fact that the Crowne Plaza offers proximity to the Asian Development Bank and the Philippine Stock Exchange, while shoppers will be happy to know that a shopping mall can be found next door. At the hotel itself, the facilities include a gym, a swimming pool, 31 meeting rooms, a Grand Ballroom, two enticing restaurants, a sports bar, and a cocktail lounge. Room service is available around the clock, and thanks to the comfortable rooms, it's worth taking advantage of. There are 263 total guest rooms and 53 suites at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, and they offer more than enough amenities to satisfy most. These amenities include satellite TV, a free morning newspaper, a work desk, a mini refrigerator, a mini bar, and complimentary internet access. The Executive Club Rooms and the suites offer added amenities such as a nightly turndown service and a CD player.

Much like the Crowne Plaza Galleria Mania, the Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel offers a good amount of amenities at a good price. In addition to a complimentary buffet breakfast, guests at the Fernandina 88 Suites will also enjoy a great location. This attractive Quezon City lodging can be found in the heart of Cubao, which is the city's main shopping and retail district. For those who are planning a Philippines family vacation, this hotel can make an excellent base, as all of the guest units are comfortable suites that feature fully equipped kitchens. These suites also feature air conditioning and are fully furnished. As the name would imply, there are 88 suites to choose from at the Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel. They offer anywhere from one to three bedrooms and are tastefully decorated. In addition to air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen, each of the suites also offers cable TV, a separate dining area, and internet access. Outside of the cozy suites, the Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel offers a stylish restaurant, a relaxed lounge, and discounted laundry facilities. Room service is available around the clock, and spa-related services can also be enjoyed in-suite for an added fee.

Some of the hotels in Quezon City are all suite hotels, as is the case at the Crowne Plaza Galleria. While the Crowne Plaza is attractive, those who wish to spend less on rates might prefer the Regalia Tower Suites Hotel. This hotel also enjoys a great location in the heart of the Cubao district, which means that guests will be within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a list of entertainment establishments. The facilities at this "condo-hotel" are relatively limited, though they do include an indoor swimming pool and five function rooms that can be used for business meetings and social functions alike. A hint of luxury can be enjoyed in the 60 guest rooms, which come in the form of studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom suites. Standard amenities include air conditioning, cable TV, a DVD player, an electric kettle for heating water, and a mini refrigerator. For those who book a larger two bedroom suite, microwave ovens are also provided. As for the bathrooms, they are equipped with a tub and a hot and cold shower.

While a stay at one of the Manila hotels will be ideal for some, staying in one of the Quezon City hotels is what some travelers will prefer when hanging out in the Metro Manila area. It's hard to pass on a stay in Quezon City with hotels like the Casatina Apartel to choose from. The rates might be low at this affordable hotel, but that doesn't mean that guests have to stay in dark and dingy rooms that are devoid of amenities. For starters, the colorful guest units at the Casatina Apartel boast fully-equipped kitchens and air conditioning. Clean towels and linens are provided, and high-speed internet access is available for keeping in touch with friends, planning fun Philippines tours, and other activities. Other amenities that are standard throughout include cable TV, a telephone, and ceiling fans. There are only seven spacious apartment-style guest units to choose from at Casatina Apartel, so booking a stay in advance is recommended when possible. The popularity of this Quezon City lodging is only increasing, thanks largely in part to its location on Timog Avenue. This is the city's top nightlife strip, and since it is home to some shops and restaurants, it is also lively during the day.
