The Peak Restaurant

The Peak Restaurant is the main dining establishment at the Dusit Island Resort, and it is a dazzling one at that. Found on the tenth floor, this is the best of the Dusit Island Resort restaurants and enjoys a rooftop position that affords sweeping views of the Kok River and the surrounding mountains. The restaurant's grand terrace offers the best views, though there isn't a bad view to be had regardless of where you sit or stand. The panoramic windows make sure of that. Elegant, yet casual, The Peak Restaurant provides an inviting all around setting, and the food is good too, which is all that some guests will care about.

There are a few different Dusit Island Resort restaurants to choose from, and while they are all good, The Peak is the place to go when an upscale gourmet dining experience is what you have in mind. Primarily a steakhouse, The Peak Restaurant specializes in Western/ North American cuisine. Thai food and other international cuisines can be enjoyed in the other Dusit Island Resort restaurants when a more authentic Asian dining experience is in order. You can also venture into the Chiang Rai city center when looking to enjoy a more authentic Thai dining experience.

The Peak Restaurant opens at 6:30 p.m. and closes at 10:30 p.m. There is seating for up to 70 people, and making a reservation can be a good idea when the resort is busy. As for the other Dusit Island Resort restaurants, they include an excellent Chinese restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner, a tempting Thai restaurant that specializes in regional favorites and is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and an all-day dining café that offers both an international buffet and an international a la carte menu. When drinks are in order, the pool bar, the lobby lounge, and the Cellar Pub & Games Room are the places to go. The latter, it is worth noting, serves drinks and light snacks, with game options including darts, snooker, and chess.
