The Slate Phuket Resort

The Slate Phuket Resort is one of the best resorts in all of Thailand, due to its stylish and comfortable interiors. Formerly the Pearl Village Resort and the Indigo Pearl Resort, the Slate Phuket was borne out of the destruction of the 2004 tsunami. Local artisans teamed up with a top notch landscape designer to create this amazing retreat, and the result is nothing short of spectacular.
Adding to the chic architectural allure of the Slate Phuket is the resort's excellent location. You can find this inviting lodging establishment on the water's edge and away from the overdeveloped areas. Adding to the allure is the fact that the resort also bounds a National Park. The stresses of everyday life begin to melt away from the moment you arrive, and while relaxing on the beach might be your main objective, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy as well.
The variety of enticing guest units at the Slate Phuket Resort leaves little to be desired, and when guests aren't relaxing in their rooms, there is an array of things to do. Perhaps you'll take a Thai cooking class when you find yourself with some time to spare, or maybe you'll drop by the tour desk to see what you can get into as far as exploring the area is concerned. Spending some quality time on the beach and enjoying any number of water sports is also an option.
A calm and shallow bay unfolds in front of the Slate Phuket Resort, and there is a fine stretch of golden-sand beach to enjoy. Among the water sports activities that guests can enjoy during a stay are snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and windsurfing. Boat trips can also be arranged with ease, as can yachting adventures, and island hopping. If you are not Scuba certified on arrival, the resort features a PADI dive shop that can have you diving in the open water before you know it.
The facilities at the chic Slate Phuket are extensive and cater to families, couples, single travelers, and really just about anyone else who is interested in enjoying a fun and relaxing escape to Phuket Island. The kid's club with all of its activities can help keep the little ones entertained, and while the kids are busy, parents might visit the luxurious spa, enjoy a romantic meal for two, or sail the area waters. Other facilities that help to make this an upscale resort to contend with include six restaurants, a bar, a fitness center, a pool, a rental car desk, and a small collection of lit tennis courts. In the restaurants, Thai delicacies can be savored, as can international dishes and a satisfying array of cocktails and wines. In-room dining is also an option and can be especially attractive after a busy day.

Regardless of how you choose to spend your day during a stay at the Slate Phuket, your cozy guest unit will be an ideal place to retire to when you feel like kicking back and relaxing. There are 243 total guest units at the Slate Phuket, and they come in the form of rooms, suites, pavilions, and villas. The suites, pavilions, and villas share many of the same qualities, with added outdoor space being one of the main perks. All of the guest units boast walled courtyard areas, and some of these courtyards feature a small, private pool. You might also have an outdoor soaking tub in your courtyard, and there are lounge chaises and an umbrella that can be used for stretching out and relaxing.
