Sydney Beach Hotels

Sydney Beach hotels are very popular with tourists. This is especially true during the Australian summer months of December through February. When you're not hanging out at the beach during your stay at one of the oceanfront hotels in Sydney, you can travel to the city with relative ease and enjoy a completely different atmosphere. It's the best of both worlds for beach enthusiasts who find themselves in the Sydney area.

There are many excellent beaches in Sydney, and should you be hoping to stay near the sand, you might start your search for Sydney beach accommodations in the suburb of Manly. There are a variety of Manly Australia hotels to choose from, the best of which is arguably the Novotel Manly Pacific. This relatively upscale beach hotel can be found at 55 N. Steyne and is just steps from the sand. That's not the only reason why it can make a fine Sydney area travel base. The tasteful rooms at the Novotel Manly Pacific offer all the amenities that you should need to enjoy a pleasant stay, and as you might imagine, the guest units with ocean views go fast.

Many Sydney area visitors are interested in staying at an apartment hotel, or all suite hotel, as they are also commonly known. There are at least two apartment hotels in Manly that are among the area's most popular places to stay. One is the Manly Surfside Apartments Hotel. There are a number of different guest unit categories at the Manly Surfside Apartments Hotel, so prospective guests should have little trouble finding the right fit. The newer beachfront addition features some exclusive, three-bedroom residences that offer most of the amenities that you might expect to enjoy at home, including a fully equipped kitchen. For those who wish to spend less, there are also relatively cheap apartment-style units at Manly Surfside Apartments that feature kitchens and other welcoming perks. You can find the Manly Surfside Apartments Hotel at 96 N. Steyne.

Manly isn't the only place to go if you are interested in Sydney beach hotels. There's also Bondi, which is equally as popular as Manly, if not more so. Bondi certainly features a very popular beach, and if you want to stay within walking distance of this beach, it's hard to top the Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa. Found at the corner of Beach Road and Campbell Parade, this all-suite hotel offers 230 guest units that feature upscale bathrooms. The oceanfront suites are understandably the most popular at the Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa, and this has a lot to do with their balconies. Outside of the well-equipped suites, guests will find some tempting facilities, the likes of which include two restaurants, a rooftop pool, and a day spa.

If your search for oceanfront hotels in Sydney takes you to Bondi, another hotel that you might consider is the Hotel Bondi, which is situated 178 Campbell Parade. Both rooms and suites are available at this budget-friendly beach hotel, and regardless of which guest unit you choose, the standard amenities will include a TV, a coffee maker, and a direct dial telephone. Most of the guest units also feature air conditioning, and you can request a room with an ocean view. The Hotel Bondi is easily among the best Sydney Beach hotels for budget travelers. As such, booking a room in advance is recommended.

Manly and Bondi might be Sydney Australia's two most popular beach destinations, but you don't have to stick to them when trying to find Sydney beach hotels. The beachside suburb of Coogee, for example, boasts an enticing beach, not to mention some attractive beach hotels. One of the beach hotels is the aptly named Coogee Beach Hotel. This hotel at the corner of Coogee Bay Road and Arden Street offers two different wings. One wing is four-star rated and features the kind of rooms that you might expect to find at a stylish and contemporary boutique hotel, while the other wing offers more affordable three-star rooms. Amenities in the more upscale rooms include a mini bar, a safe, a coffee maker, and a marble bathroom. Some of the rooms in this wing also feature a balcony and/or a spa tub. You can also request a unit with a kitchenette. As for the three-star rooms, they are also stylish and full of inviting amenities, so it's hard to go wrong.

Another excellent Coogee Beach hotel that is worth adding to your Sydney beach accommodations list is the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach, which can be found on the beach at 242 Arden Street. No less than 209 rooms and eleven suites await travelers at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach. A flat-screen TV, a safe, a mini bar, double glazed windows, air conditioning, and a work desk with a lamp are just some of the standard amenities that can be enjoyed during a stay at this contemporary beachfront hotel, while the facilities include two restaurants and two bars. Other facilities that help to make the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach such a good place to stay are a tour desk, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center.
