You will also not need to worry about finding suitable Thredbo accommodations. There is room for around 4,000 people in the Thredbo Ski Village itself, including a variety of condominiums and apartments, lodges, and hotels. You can be choosy when it comes to Thredbo accommodations. There are Thredbo chalets that you can both rent or buy if you are interested. Thredbo operates much like a small, European ski village. There are hotels and lodges, but you can also choose from self-contained apartments, chalets, and condos if you are planning a longer stay or are contemplating a purchase. So you may not have expected to feel like you were on vacation in the French Alps, but you just might feel that way.
The activities do not end when the skiing and snowboarding season draws to an end at the Thredbo Ski Resort. Rather, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, cycling, and an annual blues festival keep the party rocking.
