Huka Lodge, Taupo

* All our suites overlook the Waikato River and are built among eight separate cottages. None of the suites are in the main building.* The main building consists of a main Lodge Room, which is used by guests as their living room. We entertain guests here for cocktails prior to dinner.* Dinner takes place in our main dining room where we serve a five course set menu dinner. This menu changes daily. Next to the main dining room is our library, which can be used as a separate dining room.* We also offer a gift shop, our Trophy Room, which can be used for private dining and small meetings and conferences, and our Wine Cellar, a separate room for dining and an active wine cellar that holds around 25,000 bottles of national and international wine. We also use the wine cellar for winetastings and special events.* The property encompasses 17 acres and guests are more than welcome to stroll through the gardens. We also have an artificial grass tennis court, an outside spa pool, a petanque court and a croquet field. Flyfishing can be done straight off the banks of the Waikato River.
