Brazil carnaval

The exact origin of Brazil carnaval is still not known. Carrnival is spelled as Carnaval in Portuguese. Brazil carnaval is assumed to have evolved from a pagan celebration in Rome or Greece of ancient times. In late 19th century, Carnival balls were brought to Brazil from Italy and from 1930 through 50s, carnival were in full swing with the legendary balls at the Municipal Theater and the Copacabana Palace.
