California Resorts
California Beach Resorts | California Golf Resorts | Monterey Resorts | Napa Resorts | Palm Springs Resorts

California is one of the most diverse states, offering a range of stunning natural landscapes. California also boasts some of the nation’s most interesting cities, where exciting urban interests can be pursued. From San Francisco on down the coast to San Diego, the California destinations worthy of visiting are too many to count. North of San Francisco, California continues to impress on up towards the Oregon border, and if you are planning a getaway of any kind, California is calling. You will find plenty of California hotel choices when it comes time to plan your trip, but many visitors to the Golden State choose to stay at one of the California resorts. The resorts in California can have you close to major attractions, while at the same time offering you a most comfortable retreat after a long day. From the California golf resorts to the California spa resorts, it seems that the California resorts have something for everyone.

The beaches in California are some of the most notable in the world. Especially in southern California, the sunny, surf-inspired California vibe is still very strong. If it’s fun in the sun that you are after, then a California beach resort might be where you will look. Los Angeles is surely a destination that can fulfill many a travel dream, and in nearby Huntington Beach, for example, the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, and the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa are just two of a long list of California resorts that have you close to the sand. For a bit of an alternative to the many oceanfront beach resorts in California, you might choose a resort like the Rio Villa Beach Resort. Instead of being located on the shores of the Pacific, it can be found along the banks of the Russian River, up north in the beautiful Sonoma Valley. Speaking of the Sonoma Valley, it is one of California’s famed winery regions, and not far away, the sparkling Napa Valley is a wine-lover’s paradise. The Napa Valley resorts can be ideal for romantic getaways, or for those who just want a taste of Napa Valley’s Garden of Eden-like setting.

California spa resorts are popular with those who want to be pampered during their west coast vacation. In Palm Springs, for example, it’s not only the golf resorts that bring in scores of yearly visitors. California spa resorts like the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa offer guests the chance to enjoy a rejuvenating treatment at the hotel’s spa facilities, or in the privacy of their rooms. Various spa packages are offered at most of the California spa resorts, and quite often, couples can find that a good amount of these kinds of packages are geared towards them. The great thing about so many of the California spa resorts is that they often offer much more than just spa treatments. It’s not uncommon for a great spa resort to also dual as an ideal golf resort, and should you find yourself near the beach, mixing massage therapies with the soul-soothing crash of the waves is enough to make you want to come back time and again.

Resorts in California tend to be pretty pricey, as they generally feature luxurious accommodations and service-oriented experiences that are hard to find at the more standard hotel. If you book a stay at one of the California resorts around summertime, then you will find that rates are at their highest. Thus, if you are looking to save on rates, you might book your stay outside of the peak season. Also, during the week, it’s usually possible to find reduced rates at the resorts in California. Come the weekend, the demand for a resort room goes up, as does the price. Families, and those following a budget, might find the all inclusive resorts in California to be ideal. The all inclusive resorts in California include a set price for accommodations, and your meals, drinks and some activities are included. Couples on California trips might enjoy a stay at one of the all inclusive California resorts, especially if they are looking for a stress-free experience where everything is already taken care of.

Skiing is just one of the outdoor activities that can be enjoyed to the max in California. At Lake Tahoe, the number of resorts is impressive, and if you are looking for a great ski resort experience, it’s hard to go wrong at Tahoe. Yosemite National Park is one of California’s greatest attractions, and Yosemite lodges like the Tenaya Lodge offer guests a classic California mountain resort experience. Back down in Southern California, Disneyland trips offer the chance to stay at one of the Disneyland resorts. With so many great choices to choose from, finding the right resorts in California for your upcoming trip can be both easy and hard, due to the seemingly endless list of choices. The next time you go west to explore the wonderful state of California, take some time to see what the California resorts have to offer before you head out the door. Chances are, you will find the perfect one for your trip.
