With all of the alluring forests, lakes, and mountains in Arkansas, it’s no mystery why most of the state’s visitors come in search of an outdoor adventure. Arkansas rivers and streams are packed with fish, and are perfect for rafting and canoeing. The local rock climbing is considered to be first rate, and you can not look past Hot Springs National Park, which remains the most visited place in the state. Just how you get from site to site varies based on your personal preference. As far as rental vehicles go, there is an Arkansas car rental waiting for you in many cities across the state, including Fayetteville and Little Rock.

 

The south end of the terminal is home to the ground transportation center at Little Rock National Airport, also known as Adams Field, in Little Rock. It is also the home of two familiar car rental agencies, Thrifty and Avis, which have rentals available on site. There, you will also find customer service counters for shuttle departures at the airport's ground transportation desk. If you prefer to rent your Arkansas rent a car from National, Alamo, or Enterprise, you will need to board a shuttle bus to take you to you specific rental agency. Offices are located within 1 mile of the airport. 

 

Returning your Arkansas rent a car to Thrifty or Avis is a painless process, as the return counters are located at the airport, and it is not necessary to ride a shuttle bus back to the terminal. If you rent your car from a car rental agency away from the airport, make sure you find out the shuttle schedule, as schedules vary by time and day. Whether you are in Little Rock for business or pleasure, the convenience of having your own vehicle is definitely a benefit.

 

If you are traveling to Fayetteville, you can still find a great Arkansas car rental with easy return locations at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. Upon arriving at the airport, proceed to the rental car counter, where you’ll find Avis, Budget, Hertz, National and Thrifty. Enterprise is also located in the airport, and can be found in the intermediate parking area. When you return your car rental, simply pull into the airport and follow the signs that point you to you specific rental company. With all the major car rental companies located under one roof, renting a car couldn’t be easier.

 

Upon reaching the rental counter in Arkansas, you will probably be asked if you want to purchase insurance for your rental car. It is important to realize is that your insurance policy for your personal vehicle probably covers your rental car also. An exception to this is what is called CDW, or collision damage waiver. This daily charge covers both the cost of damages to the rental car if you happen to be involved in an accident. Check with your insurance company before leaving home.

 

Arkansas state law requires the use of child restraint system for anyone riding in a vehicle under the age of 5.
