Cedar Rapids is the second largest city in Iowa located on both banks of the Cedar River, and nicknamed the City of Five Seasons. While historically known as an industrial city, Cedar Rapids has recently begun to grow and expand, attracting new residents and visitors to the area thanks to the city’s and warm Midwestern hospitality. The city’s central location 20 miles north of Iowa City and 100 miles east of Des Moines, makes a Cedar Rapids rent a car a great way to get around.
