At corporate Hertz Rent A Car locations in the US, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas, customers who are age 21-24 are able to rent selected vehicles (excluding luxury and other models) for an additional daily surcharge. Hertz accepts most major credit cards, some debit cards, Hertz Charge Card, and the Hertz Cash Deposit ID Card. At the time of rental you will need to present a current driver's license and a valid credit card in the renter's name. Debit cards are permitted as most US locations subject to review of your credit history. One way rentals are available to certain locations for an additional fee. Hertz vehicles cannot be dropped off in Alaska and driving there is regulated by specific location restrictions. Driving into Canada is permitted but cars may not be driven into or dropped off in Mexico. Other international rules and regulations vary from country to country.
