Located near the capital city Oranjestad,
Palm Beach is the most well
known beach in all of Aruba. Spend a day on this beach,
blessed with powder white sand dotted with palm trees
and looking out over an amazing blue sea, and you will
understand the appeal. Additionally, this is a great beach
for many activities Aruba
is known for—snorkeling, diving,
and water sports among them. The hotels in Palm Beach
Aruba are situated along with fabulous waterfront and
most offer water sports equipment for rent. While this
is not the quietest beach in Aruba, it is one of the most
beautiful, fun, and accessible beaches
on this Caribbean
island.
Palm Beach Aruba hotels are mostly located just off the beach, making beach access quick and easy and the views from many hotel rooms great. Along with equipment rentals, most hotels have public areas where anyone can buy refreshments or use the facilities.
Palm Beach Aruba resorts
somewhat mirror or are slightly more expensive than the
prices in Oranjestad. Staying in this hotel district,
you have your choice of a low-rise or high-rise resort.
The difference is mostly in size and sometimes level of
amenities offered, although, even low-rise Palm Beach
Aruba hotels offer a nice level of extra touches. Both
low and high rises have a range of quality and amenities
so if you seek the highest level of services possible,
look into Aruba’s luxury
hotels or even an all-inclusive
resort or vacation.
Low-rise hotels in Palm Beach Aruba are marked by a smaller stature and often fewer resources on the property. The Mill Resort and Suites is an example. With two stories and 198 rooms, the Mill Resort and Suites offers a shuttle from the hotel to the beach across the street. On the hotel grounds are a spa, two pools, a bar with a daily happy hour and Latin dance classes, tennis courts, and a café. All rooms have either a garden or pool view. Many more amenities are located near the Mill Resort and Suites or any other smaller hotels in this area in the high-rise hotels. Other smaller hotels include the Brickell Bay Beach Club, or Divi Village.
High-rise Palm Beach Aruba resorts are larger and therefore generally have more services and amenities. Covering 12 acres and rising 9 stories, the Hyatt Regency is a great place to stay. Aruba is known throughout the Caribbean for its casinos and one of these is located in the Hyatt, along with two outdoor whirlpools and a multilevel swimming pool, a lagoon, sports courts, a sauna, spa, and several restaurants. Other options with similar amenity levels are the Aruba Marriott, Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, Holiday Inn Sunspree, Radisson, Westin, or Renaissance Ocean Suites.
Hotels in Palm Beach Aruba are wonderfully well equipped, making this area a destination worthy of an individual, couples, or family vacation. High-rise Palm Beach Aruba resorts offer a wide array of services and activities sure to please anyone, while low-rose Palm Beach Aruba hotels are equally as comfortable and perhaps a little more private.
