The Cove Atlantis

The Cove Atlantis is the sleek new addition to the mega Atlantis Resort, located on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. As if there weren't enough offered already at Atlantis Resort, the Cove Atlantis adds 600 new suites in a 22-story structure that was designed taking influence from the surrounding sea, sun and overall tropical beach environment. As you enter the Cove Atlantis Bahamas, you are welcomed by a sophisticated and elegant combination of contemporary and sleek designs, which exude a certain level of exclusivity. Everywhere you look, sharp angles and clean lines meld with subtle chic opulence. The Cove Atlantis sits at the apex of two of the top beaches in the Caribbean, Cove Beach and Paradise Beach, and upon entering the large and balmy open-air lobby, you get the feeling that you made the right choice in accommodations. To say it is impressive would be an understatement, as guests not only take advantage of the Cove's onsite amenities and facilities, but also those of the sprawling parent resort, Atlantis as well.
Chances are you have already heard about the Atlantis Resort and Casino, if not at least seen pictures of it while looking for various Caribbean resorts for your upcoming vacation in the sun. Its Royal Towers, or the main buildings, were finished in 1998 and the addition of the Cove Atlantis occurred in March of 2007. With the various lodging options available at the Atlantis Resort, the Cove and Harborside Villas, guests can choose from 4,000 rooms or suites, enjoy a myriad of water activities and choose from a complete line of cafes and restaurants. The Harborside Resort Villas are some of the most unique Caribbean vacation rentals, a clustered neighborhood of 392 villas in an array of Caribbean colors all offering luxurious amenities. There is a shuttle service that is designed to get you to and from the different Atlantis Resort attractions, and it even offers transportation to and from the nearby One and Only Ocean Club where you will have access to one of the best Caribbean golf courses. The 18-hole championship golf course at the One and Only Ocean Club was designed by renowned designer, Tom Weiskopf. Every year, the course hosts the annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational.
The Cove Atlantis Bahamas offers a lot of dining options of its own, that work well in tandem with the myriad of selections found at the Atlantis Resort. The two fine-dining restaurants at The Cove are the Mesa Grill and the Mosaic. The Mesa Grill is the first restaurant opened by renowned chef, Bobby Flay, outside of the United States. Open specifically for dinner, the restaurant features a southwestern inspired menu with dishes created exclusively for The Cove. The Mosaic is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and revolves around a Mediterranean-influenced menu with live action stations where dishes are prepared on demand. Casual dining options at The Cove include the Cain At The Cove CafÉ and the Cascades Grill.
Between The Cove Paradise Island and the Atlantis Resort, guests can belly up to many a bar and enjoy the nightlife offered at the various clubs. During the day, primarily at Atlantis, kids can enjoy a number of activities and clubs tailored to keep them interested and integrated. Whether splashing at the family pool at The Cove, or whooshing down the waterslides and water rides at Atlantis, children and adults alike will find hours of entertainment getting wet and wild. If there is room in the budget to include the interactive experience at the Atlantis Dolphin Cay, it is well worth the money. When it's time for some adults-only relaxation, the Cove Pool and Cabana Club is the answer. Between the natural beauty of the swaying palms and Caribbean vibes, at The Cove Pool and Cabana Club, guest services include bar selections, a beach concierge and some ultra-comfortable daybeds.
The customary collection of suites found at The Cove Atlantis Bahamas range from the 672 square-foot Ocean Suite to the 2,751 square-foot 1, or 2-bedroom Presidential Suites. Rates for these options, and those found between them, will cost you anywhere from $460-$4,935 per night depending on the season and how big you want to go. If you really want to go all out, you can rent the 4,070 square-foot penthouse suite, which among other stunning amenities features a media room with a theater system that delivers the sounds while the 60-inch flat-screen television delivers the sights. The penthouse suite will cost you a pretty penny at $15,000 plus per night, but you only live once. All suites at the Cove Atlantis Bahamas feature balconies with panoramic views, recessed living rooms, spacious bathrooms and all the amenities you would expect at a 5-star resort.
