The Island of Barbados is flat, but it hosts several beautiful beaches that have fine, coral pink sand.  All beaches are open to the public, even the beaches in front of the many resorts.  Nudity is not allowed like it is on other Caribbean islands.  You will find the beautiful beaches in Barbados make this island paradise well worth the trip.

On the Southern side of the island are some of the most beautiful beaches in Barbados, including the one at the Barbados Beach Club Resort.  Like many of the resorts on Barbados beaches, the Barbados Beach Club has water sports equipment rentals, beach recreation activities and rentals of beach amenities.  The Barbados Beach Club is also home to the Barbados Golf Club where the golf lover can find several packages to suit their need for fun in the sun.  You can also find several all inclusive packages at the Barbados Beach Club, including wedding packages.

Another of the Southern Coast beaches in Barbados is Accra / Rockley Beach.  It’s one of the widest and longest beaches on the Southern coast. It’s a popular beach with the locals, as well as visitors.

If you are looking for some good swimming, Bath is a good Barbados beach.  There is a lifeguard nearby and a beach bar for snacks.

Surfers will like Bathsheba.  This beach is home to many surf contests.  It can become quite busy during these contests.   But even if surfing is not your sport, you can find nice views fine restaurants and some nice reefs close by.

For the romantic isolated beach, try Bottom Bay, one of the beautiful Barbados beaches that is perfect for an afternoon picnic with your loved one.  

Another Barbados Beach that is often deserted is Cattlewash.  It’s the longest beach on Barbados, a good spot to sight-see and relax.  It can be too rough for swimming, so check with the lifeguard before you take the plunge in these gorgeous waters.

One of the ten best beaches in Barbados is the picturesque Crane Beach.  This is a popular spot for honeymooners.

Good beaches in Barbados for snorkeling are Church Point, Folkstone Beach (with the Folkstone Marine Park), and Mullins Bay.

You will find plenty of windsurfers at Silver Rock Beach.  Like other Barbados beaches, Silver Rock has a windsurfing shop nearby for rentals and lessons.

For calm waters and nice swimming try Paradise Beach or Paynes Bay. You can also try Sandy Lane bay.  This is one of the Barbados beaches that has calm waters and the full resort experience.  Like the other resorts near Barbados beaches, you can find tennis courts, golfing, water sports, restaurants and a luxury spa.
