Sandals Barbados

A Sandals Barbados resort has overtaken the property that was formerly occupied by the Couples Resort in St. Lawrence. This change was announced in October 2013, as was news that the Sandals Resorts company will also be opening a Beaches brand resort on the grounds of the former Almond Beach Resort. One of the main differences between the Sandals and Beaches brands of resorts is the type of guests that they receive. The Sandals properties are couples only, while the Beaches resorts allow couples, singles, and families. Either way, both will bring added quality to the Barbados lodging scene with their amazing all inclusive packages, their beautiful beachfront locations, and their wide variety of amenities and activity options.
Sandals Barbados Rooms
The rooms at the Sandals Barbados are similar to the rooms at the other Sandals properties in the Caribbean. That means luxurious furnishings, refreshing air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet access, stocked in-room bars, satellite TV, and a score of other inviting perks. Guests can also expect to have access to your more standard hotel amenities, such as hair dryers, irons, and ironing boards. Convenience and comfort are the names of the game, and for those who want to enjoy the very best that the new all inclusive resort has to offer, there are suites that come with personal butler service. Perhaps the best thing about the Sandals Barbados rooms, however, is the access that they provide to the hotel’s numerous facilities and gorgeous grounds. This is the first Barbados property for Sandals, and according to the company’s chairman, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, “it is one of the most beautiful properties in the entire island.”
