St James Hotels

One of the main reasons people choose St James hotels over others in Barbados is because of the close proximity to the calm beaches of the west coast that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. You can find the perfect St James hotel for your family at one of the all inclusive resorts near tropical beaches or more secluded St James lodging near the historical city of Holetown. No matter where you decide to stay, virtually ever St James hotel has a pool and provides transportation to nearby Barbados attractions.

Many people enjoy all-inclusive St James hotels because of the money they can save by paying one price for luxurious lodging, food, and outdoor beach activities. One all inclusive St James hotel is the Crystal Cove Hotel. The hotel is located 2 miles from Holetown, the largest town in St James Parish. Unlike a few St James accommodations that are geared for adults and honeymooners only, this St James hotel is known for its kid friendly atmosphere. A children's club provides special beachside activities especially for kids. Daily snorkeling excursions are included in the price of the resort. If you don't have any snorkeling gear, the gear is provided in the cost of the St James lodging. There are also restaurants that serve Bajan and international cuisine.

If you're on a budget but still desire a clean and comfortable St James hotel near the beach, the two and a half Palms resort offers villa type accommodations with small patios, kitchens, high speed internet access, and spacious rooms. The beach is only 10 miles away from the resort and free transportation is provided daily. For nightly entertainment, the capital city of Bridgetown is only eight miles away. Most rooms overlook a unique Japanese garden and an outdoor pool. Rooms start at $70 per night.

The All Seasons Resort-Europa is a great St James hotel option if you want apartment style accommodation near the historical city of Holetown. The hotel feature a large restaurant and bar, outdoor swimming pools, and complimentary internet access. The resort is also very close to area golf courses. Prices start at $110 per night, which is very reasonable compared to many St James hotels that are triple the price.

Whether you are on a budget or have money to spare, staying in St James lodging will provide you with access to beaches as well as the towns of Holetown and Bridgetown.
