Bonaire Hotels

One of the best things about the Bonaire hotels is that they are all relatively affordable. This Caribbean island might offer visitors a slice of paradise, but they won't be overcharged to get it. There are some upscale Bonaire resorts for those who want a taste of luxury during their Bonaire visit, but on the whole, the hotels here are small, intimate, and budget friendly. Some of the Bonaire resorts feature dive shops, which lends to their popularity, and by extension, Bonaire is one of the best places known for scuba diving in the Caribbean. In addition to resorts and hotels, the Bonaire accommodations also include vacation rentals, which come mostly in the form of apartment and condo units. These can be very attractive options as well, especially if you want a break from the hotel scene.
Harbour Village Beach Club

While none of the hotels in Bonaire are overly opulent, the Harbour Village Beach Club (pictured) offers a relatively luxurious lodging experience. Similar to most of the Bonaire hotels, you can find this member of the "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" on the island's western side. It opens onto a beautiful, white sand beach, which is just part of the appeal. When you're not sunning, swimming, or enjoying watersports on the Harbour Village Beach Club's private beach, you can relax by the outdoor pool, visit the tennis center, workout in at the fitness center, or treat yourself to a session at the onsite spa. Since Bonaire is known for its diving, many guests at the Harbour Village Beach Club choose to book a diving package. This is one of the best dive resorts in the land, and personalized service is available for advanced and beginning divers alike. There are 30 guest units at this inviting Bonaire resort. They range from rooms to larger suites, all of which have a tropical décor and ample amenities. Standard amenities in the guest units include a marble bathroom, signature toiletries, cozy robes, cable TV, a safe, and a hair dryer. Should you book a beachfront suite, you'll also have a wet bar, a microwave, and a mini fridge at your disposal. Fully-equipped kitchens are part of the deal in the premier suites. There are many restaurants in Bonaire, and one of the best is at the Harbour Village Beach Club, which is just one more reason to stay there.

The Harbour Village Beach Club isn't the only Bonaire hotel worth considering if you want to stay on the beach and do some scuba diving. Captain Don's and the BuddyDive resorts are other favorites, and they offer cheaper rooms and a more laid-back atmosphere. You'll also enjoy a laid-back atmosphere at the Coral Paradise Resort, which is one of the newer Bonaire hotels. There are only six guest units at this oceanfront hotel, so a stay is pretty quiet and relaxed. When you're not diving during your stay at the Coral Paradise Resort, an inviting pool patio makes relaxing poolside one of the top things to do. You can dive right off the beach here, so you won't have to go far when the mood strikes. The rooms at the Coral Paradise Resort offer everything that you will need to enjoy a comfortable and convenient stay. This includes air conditioning, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and two queen-size beds. Just like most of the Bonaire resorts and hotels, the Coral Paradise Resort offers excellent vacation packages for divers and non-divers.
Goood Resort

Since there are so many hotels in Bonaire, you shouldn't have trouble finding a nice place to stay. Should you want to save yourself some research when looking for Bonaire accommodations, the Harbour Village Beach Club, Captain Don's, BuddyDive, and the Coral Paradise Resort are all safe bets. The Goood Resort offers a welcome atmosphere that will have you feeling relaxed in no time. This charming bed and breakfast resort offers wonderful views of the island's capital city of Kralendijk, and on clear days, you can even spot Curacao in the distance. The views are perhaps best enjoyed from the hotel's pool deck. Whether you are looking to dive, snorkel, enjoy a honeymoon, or simply relax, the Goood Resort can meet your needs. The hosts go the distance to help make guests feel at home, and since there are only a handful of rooms, the atmosphere is usually quite tranquil. All of the guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and colorful accents help to add vibrancy to the décor. You'll find a king-size bed in your room at Deep Blue View, and other standard amenities include a CD player, a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, and air conditioning. While the standard rooms are fine by most, the Triggerfishroom offers some extra space and amenities. The two-person tub helps to make it the top choice for honeymooners.
Coco Palm Garden and Casa Oleander
While the bulk of the hotels in Bonaire are affordable, you can always look to save on rates by staying at one of the island's cheaper lodging establishments. The Coco Palm Garden and Casa Oleander are excellent places to stay if you are interested in cheap Caribbean hotels. It's actually hard to classify these establishments as hotels, because they offer what amount to single, apartment-style units. These units might be simple, but they are also colorful, spacious, outfitted with kitchen facilities, and hard to beat for the price. One of the best things about the guest units at these discount "inns" is the fact that they all boast private porches with tables and chairs. Most also feature hammocks and garden areas, and air conditioning is available for an extra fee if you want it. These units might not be luxurious, but they can be utterly ideal when you want a break from the larger Caribbean resorts. While the overall amenities might be relatively limited in the guest units at the Coco Palm Garden and Casa Oleander, guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, access to the outdoor pool, access to a small library, and use of the guest computer.
