British Virgin Island Vacations

British Virgin Island vacations provide guests lucky enough to visit to this enviable part of the Caribbean an unrivaled experience in terms of relaxation, natural beauty, and stunning accommodations. BVI vacation packages are readily available for families or groups of friends who want to venture to these gems of the Caribbean. Whether yours is a Tortola vacation, a holiday on Jost Van Dyke, or a sailing expedition around all of the British Virgin Islands, you are certain to have a most unforgettable time.

Sailing, diving, and fishing are just a few of the alluring attractions that draw tourists to BVI vacation packages every year. The British Virgin Islands are synonymous around the world with some of the best sailing to be found in the Atlantic Ocean. And although sailing is a prominent part of the fabric of the culture and community in BVI, many other water sports are popular and available to those visiting the area. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and the relatively new sport of snuba diving (which combines snorkeling and scuba) are all favorites with residents and tourists. Many others book their British Virgin Island vacations with deep-sea fishing in mind. You can charter your own fully manned boat and hit the high waters for some of the most energy-charged and intense fishing to be had anywhere.

The largest island in the BVI is Tortola, a three by twelve mile paradise of powdery white sand, lush tropical vegetation, and to the delight of many adult visitors, a selection of rum distilleries. A Tortola vacation is enhanced by the warm sun and surf, stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, and relaxing with loved ones with a unique and locally concocted, rum beverage in-hand. Gorgeous islands are ubiquitous throughout the BVI. Each one in the British archipelago is gorgeous in its own individual way. Anegada is a coral island where some of the best reef snorkeling can be discovered. The laid back environment and private accommodations of Jost Van Dyke make this smaller island a favorite for those seeking relaxation first and foremost on their Virgin Island vacation. Virgin Gorda is a veritable treasure chest of natural wonders such as flooded, underground caves, pristine beaches, and thousands of acres of dense tropical foliage and exciting mountain trails. You can find BVI vacation packages that include accommodations on each of the four main islands. For those interested in booking accommodations on one of the smaller, privately owned islands, you will most likely need to contact the resort directly. Package deals are less readily available for some of the resort destinations on the smaller islands.

British Virgin Island vacations offer you the opportunity to get away from the rigors of day-to-day life and step into the realm of island time. You can enjoy sailing expeditions, world-class shopping, dining, and entertainment, and a range of tours and trips that provide endless fun for adults and children alike. The natural beauty of the islands makes the BVI destinations some of the most sought after in the Caribbean. A Tortola vacation is just as fantastic as one on Jost Van Dyke or Virgin Gorda. You seemingly cannot go wrong with any of the beautiful islands of the BVI.
