Barbara Beach Curacao

Barbara Beach Curacao is about five miles south of the capital city of Willemstad in the Spanish Waters Bay area. In addition to numerous Barbara Beach facilities such as dive shops, dining spots, and beach bars, you will find some nice vacation rentals and apartments, as well as the luxurious Hyatt Regency Resort and a modern marina. The Hyatt is an extensive resort, offering tennis courts, a full-service spa, and luxurious rooms, suites, and bungalows. The Santa Barbara Plantation is also located here, with beautiful luxury homes set in the hills over the bay and villas along the marina. These are primarily for sale, but can often be reserved as vacation rentals for short term stays.

This is a very popular beach for family vacations, and other Barbara Beach facilities include changing rooms, showers, and toilets. You can also rent snorkeling gear and small boats. The snorkeling here is excellent, as swimmers are protected by a natural coral reef. Because of its excellent marina, Barbara Beach Curacao (often referred to as Santa Barbara Beach) is an excellent site if you are on yacht cruises around the island or enjoying more extensive cruises from other nearby islands. If you are staying in Willemstad, this is a good beach for day trips. You can reach it both by car rentals and by boat from the capital.
