The Caribbean offers warm tropical breezes, white pristine beaches, and possible the most beautiful and romantic place to visit on earth. One main reason the Caribbean is so popular are the vast beaches that dot all the countries and islands that have coastline along the Caribbean Sea and the Dominican Republic is no exception. Dominican Republic beach photos show what a beautiful setting the country has, and these beaches also offer wide ranging activities for all that care to partake of its beautiful shores.
The La Minitas beach may be the most popular beaches of Dominican Republic due to the fact that there are many things to do along this stretch of shoreline. You can arrive by shuttle bus or even rent a golf cart so you can visit on your own and stay as long as you like. Not only will you love the sandy shores, but also you and your family will enjoy the various water sports available with rental establishments for paddleboats, kayaks, windsurf boards and more. You may even desire a nice massage, which can be found right on the beach. Spending the entire day at La Minitas Beach is easy since you will not have to leave to find a great restaurant or partake of an exotic drink. Since this beach is so popular, it can become quite crowded with tourists.

Bayahibe is the next popular beach that offers a more relaxed atmosphere than that of La Minitas Beach. From the beach, you will be able to see the small islands just off the coast where you will find two wildlife preserves that are easily attainable. The wildlife preserves are Catalina and Saona. If seclusion is your idea for the best beaches in the Dominican Republic then you have found the one you desire. The beach is pretty much undeveloped just as it was when Christopher Columbus discovered the island. Along with being one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic, Bayahibe Beach is home to Casa de Camp, the finest golf resort in the world, as stated by Golf Magazine. If white powdery sand and golf were not enough for you to visit this luxurious beach then maybe you would prefer the water sports available such as fishing, snorkeling, and diving.
