Grand Palladium Punta Cana

The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa is in the middle of the pack when you are looking at a map of the Punta Cana resorts. Next to it are the Palladium Bavaro Grand Resort and Spa, the Palladium Palace Resort Spa and Casino, and the Royal Suites Palladium. Should you stay at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana, you will have access to the facilities at the first two, but not at the Royal Suites. Royal Suites guests enjoy access to all four hotels’ facilities, and it is an adults-only hotel. While the grounds of these hotels are expansive and can require a lot of walking, there are plenty of mature plants and lush gardens to admire wherever you stroll. Should you prefer to save your energy, there are free trams that transport guests around the premises. While the beautiful beach is the main attraction for guests at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana, there’s plenty to do on the side. The extensive combination of facilities between the different Palladium resorts pretty much runs the gamut, so you’ll always be able to keep busy when you feel like getting into something.

The rates at the Punta Cana Grand Palladium are all inclusive, which means that all of your meals and snacks will be covered, as well as most beverages. You’ll also be able to enjoy an array of activities during the day, while at night, the resort’s beach parties and live entertainment shows will keep the fun going. There are no less than eleven restaurants spread about the grounds of the Grand Palladium Punta Cana, some of which are buffet-style eateries where you can choose from a wide variety of dishes. In addition to the buffet restaurants, there are also five a la carte restaurants where you can enjoy some of your meals. These restaurants require reservations and you are limited to a set number of times that you can eat at them. Spanish, Asian, Italian, Tex Mex, and International cuisine are the specialties at the a la carte restaurants. Complementing the selection of restaurants at the Punta Cana Grand Palladium are seventeen bars, three of which are found in the lobby. You can also find a bar at each of the four swimming pools, not to mention near the beach. Some drinks at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa bars will require an additional fee, while others are included in the all inclusive rates.

The great thing about all inclusive resorts like the Grand Palladium Punta Cana is the fact that you can be as busy or not busy as you want to be. Whenever you feel like adding activities to your agenda, you won’t be at a loss. There are already a bunch of fun things to do in Punta Cana, and when you include all of the possibilities at the resort as well, the list is virtually endless. There are various sports areas at the Punta Cana Grand Palladium, and among the sports that you can enjoy are beach soccer, tennis, sand volleyball, and basketball. There is also a minigolf course here, so if you don’t get to play real golf in Punta Cana, you can at least work on your putting stroke. Shopping is also something that you can do during your stay, as the resort facilities include a small shopping center with its own mini-supermarket. To help families stay entertained during their visit, there is a kids club for youngsters ages 4 to 12. While the kids are enjoying supervised activities, the parents will be able to steal away for a romantic meal, or perhaps a couples’ massage at the resort’s beachfront spa. Unfortunately, spa treatments aren’t part of the all inclusive deal.

The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa is a 4-star resort, so while its rooms aren’t the most luxurious rooms in the land, they are far from shabby. There are 451 rooms in total, the bulk of which are deluxe rooms that feature mini-bars, massage or Jacuzzi tubs, satellite TV, coffee makers, and safety deposit boxes. An iron and ironing board is provided for your convenience as well, as is a hair dryer in the full bathrooms. Should you book one of the 26 Junior Suites, you’ll not only enjoy added space, but also a larger Jacuzzi tub. The mini-bars in all of the rooms are stocked several times a week with sodas, water, and beer. A private balcony or terrace is also standard in each unit, and it is recommended that you ask for a room with ocean views. It won’t make or break your trip, but it’s a nice extra. Whichever room you book at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa, you’re bound to enjoy your stay, so plan your Dominican Republic getaway today, and treat yourself to some much deserved fun in the sun.
