Punta Cana Nightlife

The nightlife in Punta Cana presents visitors with a healthy array of possibilities, and while some might prefer retiring to the comfort of their room after a fun-filled day in the sun, others will relish the chance to go out on the town. Many Punta Cana tourists stay at one of the all inclusive resorts, as these resorts are basically akin to small villages that provide their guests with everything that they will need to have a good time. The all inclusive resorts are where you’ll find the best clubs in Punta Cana, and since many of them also boast casinos, you can also enjoy some gaming action well into the morning hours. Should dance clubs and casinos be too busy for you, the Punta Cana nightlife can involve hanging out at a relaxed bar instead. Since the resorts offer an array of bars, finding the right atmosphere to suit your fancy is a breeze.

In addition to bars, clubs, and casinos, the nightlife in Punta Cana can also involve partying on the beach. Most of the resorts here put on beach parties when the sun goes down, and it’s not uncommon for plenty of music and dancing to be part of the scene. The luxurious Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa is just one of the Punta Cana resorts that throws great nightly beach parties. You’ll be sipping on cold drinks while the beach bonfire blazes. As is also customary of the Punta Cana resorts, Dreams also puts on nightly shows in its theater. More often than not, the nightly shows that the resorts put on are very entertaining. They might not be quite up to par with the Las Vegas shows, but they are usually pretty good nonetheless. Speaking of Las Vegas, you might be surprised to know that many visitors to the Punta Cana casinos label the experience as being quite Vegas-like, so if you want gaming action, you can have it.

Though the Punta Cana casinos are relatively small, they still provide big thrills. Flashing lights, and rings of slot machines fill the air at the Punta Casinos, all of which offer table games, slot machines, and video poker. The Barcelo Punta Cana is just one of the many resorts here that has a casino, and after enjoying some gaming action for a while, you might head over to the Bavaro Disco, which is free to all guests who stay at one of the Barcelo resorts. The Bavaro Disco is open until 5 a.m., so if you are looking for Punta Cana nightlife that extends until the break of dawn, you’ll get what you want here. Another frontrunner among the Punta Cana nightclubs is the Disco Mangu, which can be found at the Occidental Grand Punta Cana Resort. Different music spills over the two separate dance floors at Disco Mangu, and this place also extends its party well into the morning hours. Finding Punta Cana nightclubs certainly won’t be hard during your visit, as virtually every resort has one. Should you be a guest at the resort that runs either the bar or the club that you are hanging out at, you will likely be treated not only to free admission, but also free drinks under the all inclusive plan.

Families probably aren’t going to hit one of the Punta Cana nightclubs or casinos when the sun goes down, but that doesn’t mean that the Punta Cana nightlife leaves families out of the picture. At resorts like the Majestic Colonial Beach Resort, the nighttime shows often include something that is geared towards children. It’s not uncommon for the different resorts to have movie nights as well, treating their guests to complimentary flicks on the big screen. Unless you are staying at resorts that cater to adults, such as the Excellence Punta Cana Resort and Spa and the Sivory Punta Cana, the nightly beach parties should prove family-friendly as well. The nightlife in Punta Cana does well not to leave anybody out, so if you’re looking for something to get into once the sun ducks beneath the horizon, you’ll hardly be at a loss.
