Paradisus Punta Cana

When luxury hotels in Punta Cana are what you are interested in, the facility-rich Paradisus Punta Cana deserves a look. Located right on the beach in the beautiful Bavaro area of Punta Cana, this all inclusive paradise not only offers its guests excellent rooms and a great location, but also plenty of things to keep them entertained. Included in the all inclusive rates at the Paradisus Punta Cana are a number of fun activities, and there are even a few tour options for those who want to venture off the resort grounds. Golf enthusiasts will do well to stay here, as all guests enjoy access to one of the finest golf courses in Punta Cana, and certified scuba divers can take advantage of the resort’s arranged excursions. While some things, like spa treatments and romantic couple’s dinners, will cost extra when you stay at the Paradisus Punta Cana, there’s more than enough to enjoy when it comes to what is already included in the all inclusive rates.
With the addition of The Reserve, which offers 132 luxury suites, the room total at the Paradisus Resort has increased to 689. Most of the rooms, or suites as they are called, are not part of The Reserve, and while a little less luxurious, they are still wonderful accommodations. Some of the Deluxe Junior Suites, which are considered to be the standard rooms, have Jacuzzi tubs, for example, and when you book one of the Royal Service Suites, you’ll enjoy a level of comfort and service that is without question enviable. Since the room choices are so numerous at the Paradisus All Inclusive in Punta Cana, focusing on the amenities that are standard throughout should serve to give you an idea of what to expect. Each room is well-appointed, and while the furnishings in the least expensive choices are less elegant, they more than suffice for most. A king-size bed or two double beds make up the bed choices, and each room also boasts a furnished patio or terrace where you can enjoy the fresh ocean air. Other room amenities include separate living and sleeping areas, marble bathrooms, satellite cable TV, an in-room safe, a mini-bar, air conditioning, a coffee maker, and an iron and ironing board. Room service is available around the clock, which is nice when you feel like staying in for a meal, though there are plenty of dining choices just outside your door should you want to explore all of the options.
Like most of the resorts in this top Dominican Republic vacation destination, the Paradisus Resort offers a number of restaurants that specialize in different cuisines. From seafood and steaks to Italian and French fare, the twelve restaurants here cover the spectrum when it comes to food choices. All but one of the twelve restaurants at the Paradisus Resort are included in the general all inclusive rates, so you won’t be limited to buffets. The one Paradisus restaurant that is not included in the general rates is the club restaurant, which only takes reservations from those who stay in one of the The Reserve Suites, the Royal Service Suites, or the Family Concierge Suites. In addition to the restaurants, the Paradisus all inclusive in Punta Cana also boasts eight bars, so finding the right spot to enjoy your favorite beverage won’t be a problem. Royal Service guests will have access to their own bar, as will club members who are staying at The Reserve. While there are a number of fantastic bars at the Paradisus Punta Cana, it is not the best hotel in the area for those seeking nightlife. This resort caters mostly to couples and families, so things are a bit more subdued around here. That’s not to say that nighttime fun can’t be on the agenda. Not only are there an array of bars here, but the resort also puts on live performances on a nightly basis. There’s also an onsite casino here, go gaming action can enter the picture as well.
As mentioned, a wide range of activities are offered to guests who book a stay at the Paradisus all inclusive in Punta Cana. Not only can you golf and scuba dive, but you can also do some snorkeling, play some tennis, or even hang out at the hotel’s Action Park, which features things like a batting cage and a climbing wall. Kids programs will keep the younger ones in your group busy during the day, as if playing on the beach or splashing around in the resort’s immaculate pool wasn’t already enough. Should you head for the main pool, you’ll find a rather large body of water waiting for you. A free-form masterpiece, it winds around the core of the property, a network of a series of pools actually. Mini-islands can be found interspersed throughout the pool, which also boasts a pretty amazing swim-up bar. While adults enjoy the swim-up bar, kids will feel right at home in the kids pool section.
Horseback riding, bicycling, and a number of non-motorized watersports can also be enjoyed by guests, and if shopping in Punta Cana is a top priority of yours, you can also hop on the free shuttle to get to the Palma Real Shopping Village. The sky is the limit it seems when it comes to all there is to enjoy at the Paradisus All Inclusive in Punta Cana. The rates here are competitive with the other luxury hotels in Punta Cana, so you will certainly want to give it some consideration when deciding where to stay.
