Santiago Dominican Republic is home in the center of this tropical island and is a popular tourist destination. Santiago attractions offer visitors a wide-ranging itinerary with activities. Other popular things to do in Santiago include a visit to the Cathedral of Santiago, the Tomas Morel Museum of Folkloric Art that has a collection of carnival masks, and the Monument a los Heroes de la Restauracion. It is a bit more expensive that other clubs in Santiago and is very crowded on the weekends. The younger crowd usually frequents the most popular clubs in Santiago, however, the Shakabana is popular due to the fact that it is less crowded and plays a variety of music.
