Whale Watching

Samana may be the best place in all of the Dominican Republic to enjoy whale-watching tours that begin in January and last until May. The best time to enjoy this type of tour is by leaving early in the morning no later than 9am, so you can enjoy stopping off at Cayo Levantado Island. Whale watching is one of the most popular attractions in Samana and is a must see.
