Anse Bertrand

Anse Bertrand is one of the many beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe. While all of the beaches will promise sunshine and sand, some are known for certain activities, and this one is known for its surfing. This beach attracts surfers who are out to have some fun, and aren’t looking for the most challenging waves. Serious surfers go elsewhere for big waves as this spot tends to be inconsistent and especially during the summer can be a bit flat.
Bordered by beautiful coconut trees, Anse Bertrand Guadeloupe is also popular with sunbathers and families. This striking cove is a nice place to watch the colorful fishing boats and sail boats bob gently in the water off the coast. This beach is also known as being easy to reach, which may result in crowds at times. All the beaches on the island are public, but in some instances, you may have to pay to park.
The temperate climate of Guadeloupe attracts visitors to Anse Bertrand beach all year long. This beach is located in northern Grande-Terre and is known for its scenic landscape. If you want to explore more than just the beach, Point Large Watchtower where cliffs of up to 260 feet soar out of the Atlantic Ocean. Other nearby beaches include the popular Anse Laborde. There are almost 50 beaches on the island of Guadeloupe, and each individual traveler will have their own favorite.
Snorkeling is popular across the island, and travelers can expect to see starfishes, white sea urchin, and more. A picnic on the beach is also popular at Anse Bertrand Guadeloupe. While the beaches may not have facilities, it is simple to pick up a picnic in the nearby town. For turquoise waters and sandy stretches, choose the beaches of Guadeloupe.
