If you’re looking for a quieter stretch of beach than Seven Mile Beach, consider making a beeline for Cosmos Beach. It costs a few dollars to enter the beach, which is lined by towering tropical trees. If you eat at the local seafood restaurant, the beaches’ namesake, they’ll waive the entrance fee. You’ll have the chance to sample conch soup or other Jamaican favorites before stepping onto the beach, a lovely little stretch of golden sand and some of the bluest waters you’ve ever seen.
