Playa Santa Puerto Rico

Playa Santa Puerto Rico is one of the country’s best beaches. You can find it on the southwest coast in Guanica. Much of the allure of Playa Santa lies in its warm and calm waters. Visitors are also likely to appreciate the scenery. Here, the Caribbean Sea meets white sands, and serving as a backdrop for it all is a hilly coastline.
Playa Santa gets more than its fair share of sunshine. Those who wish to escape the rays of the hot Caribbean sun can seek out the shade that numerous trees provide. In relation to water-based activities, swimming is very popular at this Puerto Rico beach, and the fact that the water is almost always calm makes for good jet skiing and boating opportunities. Many locals are known to take various flotation devices into the water at Playa Santa, and it is possible to rent paddle boats and kayaks. Other options for things to do are riding around on a rented water scooter and taking a banana boat ride.
Outside of holiday periods and the high summer season, Playa Santa Puerto Rico is a relatively laid-back destination where you won’t encounter tons of other beachgoers. In relation for places to stay, the Copamarina Beach Resort (pictured above, one of the best all inclusive resorts in Puerto Rico) is among the best lodging establishments in the area, so you might start there. When a break from the beach is in order, activities such as hiking and bird watching can be enjoyed within the confines of the Guanica State Forest. Getting back to the water, this is also a good area in which to arrange scuba diving excursions.
For orientation purposes, Playa Santa is just west of the town of Guanica. This town, on the other hand, is approximately 70 miles southwest of San Juan and just 20 miles west of Ponce.
