Turtle Beach St Kitts is located on the far southern tip of the island, just across the body of water called the Narrows from the island of Nevis (only a couple miles away). It is located next to Cockleshell Bay, with its two miles of sugary white sand laid out on a crescent-shaped bay. Turtle Beach is equally lovely, and both beaches have fabulous views of Nevis. Other than a number of exclusive Turtle Beach rentals that dot the sand, there is very little development on this beach. However, there is a small luxury hotel with only four beautiful bungalows and a gourmet restaurant. There are plans for a development with two more luxury hotels and a Tom Fazio-designed golf course.
People come to Turtle Beach St Kitts because of its pristine and secluded atmosphere, so the proposed development is is perhaps not as welcome by some as by others. The Turtle Beach rentals that are available are virtually all fairly opulent villas. Many of them can be considered mansions, and come with swimming pools and elegant furnishings. Many have enough bedrooms to sleep six to eight people, so the rents of $2,000 to $4,000 per week can be good values for families and small groups. They can also be the perfect kind of accommodation for those who have come for lavish weddings and honeymoons. There are few less ostentatious cottages and bungalows available as well.
