The St Martin golf tournament, the St Maarten Open, is held each year around the end of April. During this time, you can participate or enjoy watching over 100 golfers from around the world compete for several prizes with the top golfer walking away with a cash prize of 10,000 dollars.

Many golfers that enjoy the St Martin golf course join the St Maarten Golf Association as they can receive several privileges that nonmembers do not enjoy. The main reason for joining is that the course is only open to guests on Tuesday and Thursday while members can use the course any time.

Many visitors enjoy island hopping to check out various golf courses in the Caribbean such as on the islands of St Croix, St Kitts, or St Thomas.
