Regent Palms Turks and Caicos

The Regent Palms Turks and Caicos Resort is one of the most luxurious hotels in the West Indies. It's also one of the best situated. You can find this elegant resort in the heart of Grace Bay Beach on the Caicos island of Providenciales. Some rank this beach among the best beaches in the world, but this isn't the only reason to book a stay. Top-notch service, extensive facilities, and extremely attractive guest units are just some of the other things that the Regent Palms Resort is known for, and thanks to the complimentary Wi-Fi, you can spend your downtime sending out emails to let your friends back home know just how much fun you're having.

Many of the best resorts in the Turks and Caicos are found along Grace Bay Road on the island of Providenciales, and such is the case with the Regent Palms. A luxury boutique resort, it offers a relatively modest 72 rooms, and while luxurious, the overriding feel is relaxed. Both rooms and suites are available, and should you wish to enjoy the full experience, the penthouses are the way to go with more than 3,000 square feet of space.

All of the suites at the Regent Palms Turks and Caicos feature full kitchens and private laundry facilities, while the smaller rooms feature kitchenettes. Standard guest unit amenities include a TV, a DVD/CD player, cozy robes, complimentary bath products, a hair dryer, and a safe for valuables. Premium bedding is also to be expected, and each guest unit features a balcony or terrace for savoring the fresh ocean air.

While it might be hard to tear yourself from your ultra-comfortable room or suite at the Regent Palms Turks and Caicos, plenty of great things lie just outside your door. A most spectacular beach is but a few steps away, and should you prefer, the hotel boasts an impressive infinity pool that is surrounded by an exquisite patio. Lofty palm trees add depth to the pool scene, as do the breathtaking ocean views.

Other facilities that Regent Palms Resort guests can enjoy include a full-service spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a tennis court, a croquet lawn, and a special kid's club that can help keep the little ones entertained. As for spending time at the beach, you can do more than sunbathe or swim. Hobie cats are available for sailing, and it is also possible to borrow some kayaking, windsurfing, or snorkeling equipment.

The Regent Palms Resort offers meeting facilities to go with its other facilities, and the Messel Ballroom can be a wonderful place to hold weddings and other private parties. The ballroom, it should be mentioned, is found in the centerpiece Mansion building, which is also where you will find the resort's signature restaurant. This restaurant features an outdoor terrace, and shopping enthusiasts will be happy to know that the terrace fronts a small shopping area.

Ever since the Regent Palms Turks and Caicos opened in 2005, it has figured among the very best hotels in the West Indies. Due in part to its excellent amenities and its relatively limited amount of guest units, this oceanfront resort can fill up fast, particularly during the peak winter season, so booking ahead is recommended. Keeping an eye out for special deals is also recommended, especially since the rates fall on the higher side of the scale. From time to time, the resort is known to offer package deals that include a free night and/or a complimentary upgrade.
