Carribean Beach Resorts
Finding the perfect place to stay during your holiday is one of
the most important things in order to ensure that you have the time
of your life. Thankfully, all the major tourist destinations on
islands like Barbados and St Lucia offer a fantastic range of places
where you can stay and unwind. The typical Carribean beach resorts
style of hotel offers large airy rooms with an unfussy décor,
and well established lush gardens that surround the swimming pool
and lead you from the hotel buildings to the beach. |

Over the past few years, the kind of facilities available at Carribean
beach resorts have changed slightly as holidaymaker’s tastes
have become more sophisticated. Now, alongside the bars and outdoor
restaurants that have been the trademark of the region for many
years, you will also find spa facilities, gyms, and activity centres
to ensure that there is no chance of you getting bored during your
stay.
Many Carribean beach resorts are now marketed as being family friendly,
and while children have always been welcome in the region, it is
only over the last ten years or so that the hotels have caught up
with those in other parts of the world in terms of the facilities
that they offer for children. While in the past the hotels may have
had a small children’s club and a couple of staff looking
after the little ones, they now compete with each other to see who
can offer the best possible experience for younger travellers. |

Some of the best Carribean beach resorts include the famous Atlantis
hotel on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. This hotel has been featured
in numerous movies, and is one of the most instantly recognisable
buildings in the region. It caters for travellers of all ages and
tastes, with several different hotels within a single complex that
offer a range of different standards of accommodation right up to
the luxurious Bridge Suite, that is a favourite of superstars, and
costs upwards of $25,000 per night, making it one of the most expensive
hotel rooms in the world.
Of course you can have a memorable Carribean beach resort holiday
for a lot less than a single night in the Bridge Suite at Atlantis,
and rates at some of the smaller hotels start at around £50
per night on an all inclusive basis, making them fantastic value
for money. |

At most hotels, all inclusive stretches to all drinks including
brand names, although there may be some restrictions on which restaurants
you can eat out in depending on the hotel you are staying at.
Choosing to spend your holiday at one of the Carribean beach resorts
is an excellent way to get an introduction to the region, and enjoy
a warm welcome along with having beautiful surroundings in which
to spend your time relaxing and enjoying yourself.
