Guests can enjoy a miniature golf course here, hammocks galore, and a nice little fleet of sailboats and kayaks. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is special, and you can easily get to town by bike or golf cart when you want or need to. All of the cabins here feature two double beds, a private bath, A/C, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and your own beach porch that is outfitted with a table, chairs, and the all-important hammock(s). These aren't the most luxurious Placencia accommodations by any means, but they are nice enough and hard to beat for the price. The owners here are friendly and the tour desk they operate not only offers fun excursions, but the opportunity to book flights within the country as well.
The Maya Beach Hotel is surely deserving of mention among the hotels in Placencia. Found on a nice, sandy strip of beach in a central location, you could hardly ask for anything more.
