Costa Rica Oceanfront Real Estate

Costa Rica real estate has become a thriving market for investors in past years, and with the country continuing on its road of development, there seems little reason to think that things will change any time soon. While you can find commercial properties for sale in Costa Rica, it is undoubtedly the homes and vacant land plots that most people are interested in. Expatriates have taken notice of the many opportunities in Central America, and there is perhaps no more ideal country for real estate investment than Costa Rica. Costa Rica real estate is the most coveted at the moment, particularly the oceanfront properties and particularly in regions like Guanacaste, it's a good time for prospective investors to get in. Peruse the many possibilities for Costa Rica beach real estate, and you'll find a list of attractive properties for all kinds of budgets. Not only the wealthy can buy Costa Rica beach houses, and with property values slated to increase at top Costa Rica beach destinations, it appears that investors will be reaping the benefits for years to come.

The northwest Costa Rica province of Guanacaste is the hottest destination in all the land. The Costa Rica beaches on this stretch of Pacific coast fit just about any preference, and the new international airport in Liberia makes getting here so much easier than in the past. Arrive on one of the flights to Costa Rica that fly to Liberia, and you can be at your vacation home within the hour. While expatriates might consider making Costa Rica homes for sale into permanent residences, other investors might see fit to enjoy their property while on vacation, the rest of the year renting it out for profit. Two of the top Guanacaste spots for Costa Rica oceanfront real estate are Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo. In and around Tamarindo, surfers come to beaches like Playa Grande and Playa Avellanas to catch some waves, while families generally prefer activities like swimming, horseback riding and snorkeling. Scuba diving and golf are also becoming popular pursuits here, and finding Costa Rica beach real estate in a gated golf community is on the rise. With the market still being affordable, there is no better time to invest here. Wait a few years, and you might find yourself on the outside looking in. The wealth of activities available in Tamarindo means that visitors won't stop coming here, making your home ideal for rental income.

About 15-30 minutes from Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo offers sportfishing, sailing and scuba diving opportunities. Much like Tamarindo, you can find stunning beaches, restaurants and shops in this area, and with the Reserva Conchal golf course nearby, you can tee it up in a most beautiful setting. A new marina is slated to open in Flamingo, and the nearby beaches of Penca and Potrero are surely among the most picturesque in the country. Further south down the coast, the developing city of Dominical is also a hot area for Costa Rica beach real estate, offering some homes that are perched in the surrounding hills. Ocean views from on high here are amazing. With Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park just a short trip up the coast, and the pristine and rugged Osa Peninsula to the south, this centrally-located region makes for a wonderful base. Jaco Beach is another Pacific coastal area brimming with great Costa Rica oceanfront real estate, and in all these locations, you might be very surprised at just how affordable some of the properties can be. Surely you can find luxurious, sprawling estates that run into the millions of dollars, but if your budget is a bit more modest, you can still secure a slice of paradise.

The province of Limon is arguably the hottest market for Costa Rica beach houses on the Atlantic coast. Surfing, sunbathing and so much more can be enjoyed on the Atlantic side as well, and it's hard to label a secluded residence here as anything less than spectacular. In and around Limon, the Costa Rica beach houses tend to go for a bit more than those in other east coast destinations like Cahuita and Puerto Viejo, but if you do enough searching, you can find a range of prices and possibilities. In Puerto Viejo, you can purchase a neat jungle dwelling, or opt for a residence within walking distance of the Gandoca-Manzanillo National Park. In Cahuita, the Cahuita National Park is a nice compliment to the scenic beaches, and you can even find a home that also features a restaurant. Perhaps running a business while enjoying the area is the perfect fit for some. Costa Rica beach real estate is a dynamic thing, and with homes starting as low as $50,000, it probably will seem more possible to purchase Costa Rica beach houses than you may have originally thought. Vacant, beachfront lots start even lower, so even if you can't fee up the money to build a house now, you can at least secure the land. If you are looking for a prime Costa Rica beach town where tourism is less noticeable, you might consider the residentially-inclined Playa Nosara. There are just so many possibilities. So what are you waiting for? It can't hurt to take a peak at the listings for Costa Rica beach real estate. Chances are, you will soon find yourself balancing your personal budget to allow for a prized purchase.
