If you plan to visit Brussels and have only 3 full days there, here is what I recommend to do for 3 days: - Explore Grand Place and marvel at the quaint Guild Houses and Gothic architecture. - Visit the Royal Museum of Fine Arts if you're into contemporary art - Visit St. Michael's Cathedral, the Royal Residence, the Palace of Justice, the Royal Palace and the Houses of Parliament. - Pass by Place du Sablon antiques district for the weekend market - Visit Mini-Europe theme park
I thought Mini europe wouldn't be worth it bit it is. You can see all of Europe together in one place. You will need a good 2 hours to see it all and interact with the attractions. There are several areas where you can take photos of yourself in different costumes.
I would also add in some time for shopping and chocolate tasting. There are some lovely shops that are worth strolling down to see. I've been trying in vain to find a waffle as good as the one I had from a street vendor in Brussels, but alas, I haven't been able to do so. There's also some lovely lace available at some of the shops.
Atomium and Grand-Place are my favorite! Also the "Bloemen tapijt" (Flower Carpet) but that's only in mid-August. But I assure you, you don't want to miss that, it is truly beautiful.
