So, I don't know much about the weather/seasons in Ireland. What is the best time of year to visit? What are your experiences like? What would you say?

    when to go to Ireland

Between now and mid November would be a good time to visit Ireland as flights and accomodation won't be too expensive as the peak months of July and August. I live in Dublin and right now the weather is not bad and the hotels aren't that busy. Winter isn't a bad time to be in Ireland particularly in Dublin to experience the holiday season and new years eve. The only drawback about winter is that it gets dark early, and many sites and attractions are closed.
