I'm an american flying into heathrow on April 25 (wed) and I need to get to yeovil. I found some possible routes by bus and rail unfortunately on their website the fasttrack machines don't seem to be listed at Heathrow airport. Any suggestions or alternative routes? please help asap??

I've done this trip before and I can tell you it's one of the easiest from Heathrow Airport. AL you have to do is take the RailAir link direct from Heathrow to Woking Station, which is basically a half-hourly coach service from all terminals and takes about 50 minutes to get to Woking.

You can buy tickets for this at each terminal. At Woking Station you can pick up a direct and frequent South-West train to Yeovil Junction. As you can see, there is no need to go to London,Reading or Basingstoke.

Btw, if you have time I recommend a visit to Salisbury which is a short distance on the same train route from Yeovil.
