It's summer time...time to a lake vacation. Iowa's great lakes region (up near the Minnesota border) are a pretty popular place to vacation in the summer. Arnold's Park brings back the fun of a seaside amusement park. It's not just a theme park. There are some museums and a paddle-wheeler that cruises Spirit Lake.

    love Arnolds Park

I love Arnolds Park low-key vibe and family friendly atmosphere. the park has great rides and even though it doesn't have the 60mph screaming rollercoaster, its location on West Okoboji Lake makes up for it! oh did i mention that Arnolds is the oldest amusement park west of the Mississippi with a fantastic wooden rollercoaster called "The Legend".
