Is it feasible to visit New York and Atlantic City in the same day? It seems like they do that all the time on TV...but how much traveling is involved? How would you recommend doing this? I am sort of terrified to drive in New York City, so I'd rather travel by train or bus! Are there any New York City tours that do both places?

depends on how many days you have. I took a day trip to Atlantic city while in NYC and I'm glad I only allocated a day for Atlantic city. AC isn't that great outside of the summer months plus gambling is the main thing to do there. Better to spend more time in NYC..

    bus options to Atlantic city

It is feasible but flat out don't do it! There's so much to do in NYC and so little in Atlantic City that it's not worth it. Saying this, if you must just do like the last poster said and hop on the Greyhound Lucky Streak, though the Megabus is way cheaper (around $20 roundtrip for 2 people).
