Bikes and Beer is expanding beyond Belgium and the Netherlands and opening an operations base in Italy next year 2016. The beercycling tour in Italy will happen in April 19 and Oct 4, and will run from Milan to Rome. Travel is by bike and high-speed rail, with a combination of scenic cycling, dining, culture and beer tasting on mostly flat terrain. Stops include Terminal 1 in Codogno and the Tre Fontane Abbey in Rome. The price is $2,300 and includes 6 nights’ lodging, bike rental, support vehicle, tastings and some meals.

In and around Puglia, which is in the southwest of Italy is a haven for cycling because most tourists head to Rome and Tuscany so Puglia is very peaceful and roads are quite. There are also nice vineyards and beautiful towns.
