What would people recommend on Mallorca that is outside of Palma and away from the usual big beach resorts on the island? Also, what are good trips into the island interior to consider?
Hi there, Alcudia is known for both its beaches and its ideal cycling terrain. Cala Moraia offers smaller beaches as well as excellent golf courses. Puerto Pollensa is a family-friendly beach resort on the island’s north coast. Other towns and villages to check out include Cala d’Or, an east coast resort that hosts an annual Jazz Festival. Deià is a haven for artists located in the Tramuntana mountains and home to an interesting cemetary. Fornalutx is a beautiful west coast village that is great for hiking. Sóllerand Valldemossa offer stunning mountain scenery while Pollença and Sineu (the geographical heart of Mallorca) are known for their markets. Hope this helps VacationBuddy
Hi, thanks for that, yes it helps. Has anyone ever been to some of the inland areas like Alaro or Inca?
