we're planning a vacation in March to the lesser known of the Caribbean islands and I was wondering if March is a good time? is there a rainy season at all, and do you think we should avoid this time?

You can travel to St Vincent pretty much all year round since you get lovely temperatures averaging around 78 degrees. Therefore, there isn't a best time to visit St Vincent, though I'd say that the end of January and beginning of February are great months to visit since you'll be greeted by both the Bequia and Mustique Blues festivals.

By the way, there is a rainy season which run between July and December, though August is wettest month.

Even with the rainy season, you will be glad to know that the temperatures are hot so you'll still be able to enjoy nice sunbathing!
