hi, there seems to be no shortage of choice for travel books out there, and I am finding quite overwhelming choosing the right one..what's the best travel book in your opinion?

I couldn't agree more! Every traveler seems to have their own opinion on the best travel books, which include Let’s Go, Frommer's, Time Out, Rough Guides, Insight Guides, and Michelin Guides, among others.

I normally go for e-books, instead of traditional travel books, though I like the detail on history, suggestions for attractions, restaurants, tours, and practical information you get from traditional travel guides, so I can't write them off!
