Madrid is around 700 miles from Paris, so realistically the plane would be the best option. Iberia Airlines and Lufthansa, Vueling and Air Europa offer daily flights from Madrid to Paris' Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, Orly Airport or Beauvais Airport. Saying this, there is also the train option which I would suggest. You can do this cheaply via the direct Elipsos night train, which takes over 12 hrs.

Driving is a fun way...I've done this trip from Madrid to Paris and it was awesome. Just hit the A10, A630, A63, A8, AP-1 and A1. It took about 12 hours to get there plus a few stops on the way.

madrid to paris by sleeper train

There are no high speed daytime trains servicing Madrid-Paris. Catch the 'Trainhotel' sleeper train. It takes you direct from Madrid to Paris. It costs about 72 euros ($82).
