Is it too late to visit Lake Okoboji to do some camping? I'm sure there's still some nice nights left before the snow starts. Does everything close up after Labor Day?

    Lake Okoboji camping

it isn't too late for camping at Lake Okoboji. Most campgrounds open from May through September 25th. I've stayed at Fillenwarth Beach in august with family and it was lots of fun!

Camp Boji RV Park is also located in the Okoboji Lakes Area and it's another great spot that I have stayed in the past. You can do boating, skiing, tubing, fishing, golfing, shopping, and enjoy free concerts, or just plain relaxation! there is also a kids park at the camp to keep the little ones busy so, it's a great spot for everyone regardless of age.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I might wait until next spring to head out there. Of course there's always nice, heated hotel rooms.
