    hey guys,

We are planning camping this summer in the state of Mississippi and I wanted to gather some suggestions and ideas for best places to camp out, which are not more that $18 per night....any ideas?

    hi there,

If you are searching for camping in Mississippi, you could consider camping around the Gulf Coast area.

For instance, Water adventures include great Mississippi fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving and the best part is the barrier islands is accessible by ferry. You can find Mississippi campgrounds on East Ship Island, Petit Bois and Horn Island year-round.

I would say that the best time to go is between June and October around the barren points where insects are not such a nuisance.

Also, if you camp around the high dunes and lea side they offer protection from the wind.

Price-wise, you can expect to pay $16.00 per night for Gulf Island sites with electricity.
