There are a quite few national parks and campgrounds in Michigan where you can tent or simply hire an RV if you are planning to tour around. Michigan is truly a haven for those who love outdoors activities so you will have no problem finding a great place to enjoy camping.
Michigan campgrounds are open all year long, and fees start at around $15 a night. In the state park-owned sites of Presque Isle and Lime Island, cabin fees start at $35.
If you like more information on campgrounds in any of the counties, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources can provide you with further information.
Hope this helps
