    hello there,

I needed some advice on car rental in Kentucky. Is it cheaper renting from smaller companies or larger ones? Also, what about optional insurance, is it worth it?

    hi there,

There are a number of companies that specialize in car rentals in Kentucky, ranging from large companies such as Hertz to smaller privately owned companies. Kentucky car rentals are usually less expensive if rented from a larger company. Renting a car from a larger company also allows you the option of picking up your vehicle in one state and dropping it off in another.

Regarding insurance, car rental companies will often ask you if you want to include optional insurance with your rental vehicle, which will increase the price that you’ll be paying for renting the vehicle.

It is recommended that you check to see what type of auto insurance you own and if the coverage extends to Kentucky car rentals. If it doesn’t, you might want to consider purchasing an inexpensive insurance add-on that usually raises the price of your rental by $15-$20.

While the expenses of a rental car add up, the extra collision insurance may be worth it incase there is any damage that is incurred while driving the car.

    Hope this helps

Extra insurance is a peace of mind you really want. Just consider the situation if you where to pay penalties for a car that is not yours/your business'. While it is not nice to pay the premiums, you are really buying tranquility
